Research in the humanities/social sciences is a nightmare. Human behavior is complex and prone to bias. It is often impossible to know exactly what data, statistics, and qualitative information is relevant and reliable to your specific problem. Applying academic and scientific research to further innovation and evolution in the more personal, professional, and intangible areas of life was not a common process... until now.

The problem with academic and research institutions is the cost to the student or business-owner to gain the necessary information to further your goals. Sometimes the debt-to-knowledge ratio far exceeds the worth of the data, costing the average American millions in missed opportunity and help on an annual basis. This, coupled with the lack of inspiration or action that can be derived from typical sources of human data (textbooks are boring, expensive, and bad for the planet), renders most scientific discover useless to the people it was designed to help.

Instead of hiring a full-time consultant, researcher, or going back to school when all you need to know is the latest in practical life and business tools, subscribe to my website.

The content published here will introduce you to emerging trends and information, researchers, businesses, students, and other Very Important Stakeholders and Data that can help you flourish in your studies, family, and career, without compromising on quality or cost.

Kay Smythe is a nonfiction writer and researcher from the UK. She has worked in almost every field of human activity, but is best known for her tabloid reportage and academic research on the war on drugs, gangland and cartel activity, macro-sociodemographic analysis on mental health trends and socio-political trend forecasting... and being a face on billboards, in magazines and music videos as a result.

After graduating from Plymouth University, Kay became an academic consultant, ghostwriting and researching for more than five-thousand Doctoral candidates internationally. Her academic work extends to eLearning, SaaS software development, and demographic-specific marketing/communications in almost every professional field, based on the latest in psychological and sociological research (+ related fields).

In 2016, Kay was granted an O1 Visa as a Writer & Researcher of Extraordinary Ability. Her research skillset has since been used in entertainment, music, mental health, non-profits, sobriety centers, public sector outreach, and a bunch of other places she can't talk about because of the NDAs and scary people associated. Her favorite work focuses on evolving society through community bridging and understanding deviant behavioral disorders.

A note from Kay,
"I launched this website for two reasons. The first reason was my penultimate professional working experience; the situation was so inherently toxic that when Michael offered me an autonomous community and App within MyTribe, in exchange for business development and doing the work I love in a way that allows me to sustain my mental health, I couldn't say no. Thankfully, I was fired from the toxic work environment before I took my own life from the stress, and this is where I plan to stay from now on. No one should want to die because of their employer, and it is my mission to ensure that.

"The second is you, my community. MyTribe is where I can practice sustainably, and export the essential, complex, and super cool information I get paid to identify and translate for actionable application. I can’t do it for free, but I can do it for everyone. This website covers my basic needs for survival, both practically and purposefully. In return, I provide access to the data to help you make happier, sustainable, and financially-beneficial options outside your scope of knowledge, as well as giving you a deeper perspective on important topics."
